MY brde.

In Room 9 we made African Art. I chose to do a Cheetah because they are fast.  We first used a ruler and a pencil to make the patterns. We then used coluring pencils to make it colourful. After that I coloured in the middle with crayons. I then drew the Cheetah. It took a long time to make the African Art.

On Tuesday  I went to watch the Duffy show with my whole school. The show was about space and aliens. It was funny. After the show we went to class to eat lunch.

On Wednesday all of GTS went to the Maiakalani Film Festival. I had an amazing time watching all the movies. Here is my classes Movie. What was you favourite movie?

In cybersmart today Mr Goodwin taught us how to use digital media. We used Kleki to create a beach painting.

Today in class we went shopping! We looked through the ToyWorld catalog and selected a toy or toys that we would like to buy. It was so tricky making a decision because there were lots of awesome and cool toys that we wanted to buy. We had to justify our choices to Miss Hazleman in writing. 

 We then had to count out the correct amount of money that we needed. Most of the toys ended in 99 cents and we learnt that you can’t have 99 cents to you need to round the number up to the nearest dollar. We put our money in a piggy bank, and added our writing to the bottom of the piggy bank. 

What would you buy from ToyWorld?

Today on Friday  at GTS went to watch the Twits at Te Oro. I really enjoyed it because it was a funny play. My favourite part was when Mr and Mrs Twit shot us with a Water gun. When we arrived we went inside and sat down I was in the second row sitting next to Langi. Towards the end we got to do the muggle wump dance, it was tricky and I looked silly doing it. After the play we got a photo with the cast.

Party at the Pools

In the holidays I went to my little nephew’s birthday party. It was at the pools with my family. My family all went, First I got changed and then I did a manu into the pool. I had a fun day at the pools.
